Privacy Policy
We at Dartware, LLC are quite aware of the trust that you place in us. Part of that trust is that our products will serve their purpose reliably, robustly, and accurately. Another part of that trust is in our formal business relationship. We collect certain information about the people we deal with. But we realize the responsibility that comes with the information. This page describes our policy regarding personal data.
Information we collect
Dartware, LLC collects contact and/or billing information when you make a purchase from our online store, request an evaluation serial number, download our demonstration software, or join one of our mailing lists. We do this to learn who is interested in our software, for internal operations, and so that we can notify you of news and updates to our products. From time to time, we may ask customers or prospects to fill out surveys or questionnaires. We also review our web server log files and use cookies to understand the patterns of web access.
How we use this information
We use the contact and billing information for our own business purposes, to collect payments, for internal analysis of our sales and customer statistics, and to notify you of news and updates to our products. We use information from surveys to assess how well we're serving customer needs and requirements.
If you check the option on our download request page, Dartware may forward your information to registered Dartware resellers to contact you about our products. These resellers are trusted business partners, generally in countries outside the US, who can give better support (e.g., in your local language) than we can from our offices in Hanover, NH.
With that one exception, Dartware, LLC will never sell, rent, trade, or otherwise exchange your contact information with any outside organization or governmental body, except as required by law.
Dartware may send you occasional notices, newsletters, announcements regarding our products, including new versions and expiration dates of your maintenance contract(s). We may also forward notices about products from other vendors that may interest you. These mailings will be infrequent, will represent a good value to our customers, and will come from us, never from the vendor.
How can I get off your list?
Dartware will honor your request not to receive e-mails from us. Simply send a message to us at info@dartware.com and ask that your name be removed from our mailing lists.
If you have any questions about this policy, please get back to us at info@dartware.com .
