Diagnostics and Network Performance Trend Reporting
InterMapper network monitoring tools allow you drill down to learn even more about mapped network devices.
Network Device Status Windows
Status windows appear when you click and hold the mouse button on a device or interface. These windows tear off and remain open for persistent viewing.
Device Status Windows display static information (device name, IP address, sysLocation and sysContact) as well as dynamic data (response time, packet loss rate (if applicable), uptime, and availability). Status Windows also display device-specific performance measurements such as temperatures, CPU and memory utilization, transactions per second, etc.
Interface Status Windows display information about the traffic on a link, including transmit and receive statistics for that interface, utilization rates, and the device's name, link type, description, status, and IP and MAC address.
Strip Charts
Strip charts present live network performance trends for selected devices offering a quick review of changes in percent utilization, error counts, packet and byte counts and more over a day, week, month, or year. Strip Charts are easily created by clicking on any underlined value that appears in a Status Windows and dragging it to a chart.
