The InterMapper database allows you to report on and chart network trends of consider data for a specific time period.

Database and Data Reporting

InterMapper collects a wealth of data from your network devices. They include:

  • traffic levels
  • errors
  • CPU and disk utilization
  • temperatures
  • hundreds of performance measures
  • events (up/down warnings)
  • notifications
  • operational details

All data is stored and organized in InterMapper's SQL database so that you can report on historical trends for a particular device. Data can be viewed via a set of packaged Crystal Reports or your own SQL queries. You may always want to pull the data into another third party reporting system.

For scalability, a single database can record data from multiple InterMapper servers distributed across your network. And, data can also be retained by creating Strip Charts.

InterMapper includes an easy to install Postgres database or can write data to an external Postgres instance.
