Easy-to-Use Network Monitoring

"I can honestly say that since I started working as an IT administrator, the single most productive piece of software I have ever purchased is InterMapper. Just yesterday, I added a 3rd monitor to my primary office PC just so my main InterMapper screen never has to be closed."
Chris Myers
Systems Administrator
Woodhaven Association

"InterMapper is great! InterMapper is very quick and very easy to setup. InterMapper gathers the most important real-time router information and gives me a way to act on it. InterMapper is better than any other real-time router monitoring tool I have found."
Mike Contino
Manager Data Backbone Services
Penn State University

"We really like InterMapper here at Cornell. It's simple, visual, and flexible. We have a large network with over 100 routers. Each router can have up to 10 interfaces, with ten to 250 devices on each interface. We have had problems implementing a more full-blown monitoring system due to the complexity of our network. With InterMapper, we can add devices to a map in minutes."
Juan Salomon

"I ran the InterMapper demo for a couple weeks, and I knew more about the network than the guys who get paid to watch it..."

"I really like the product. I'm 'in touch' with my whole building without leaving my office. This is great!"

"I have been using InterMapper on a daily basis to keep an eye on a volunteer WAN. As a network engineer, I was on a customer site when it was stated that it was taking months for them to map their global WAN and internal LAN. As a suggestion, I thought that I would look at the project and give them my feed back. I launched SNMPc and found it difficult to map such a large network from my laptop. I launched InterMapper on my trusty PowerBook and I was done in 6.5 hrs. I was able to deliver a map of the WAN and all connecting LANs the next day as a solution.

The ease of use and full feature set makes InterMapper my recommendation to many companies such as Lockheed, PeopleSoft, Chiron Corp., Bigger.Net."

"We originally purchased Visio Enterprise thinking that it would allow us to monitor our network. After playing with it for a few days, I discovered the InterMapper demo. Within two days, I had our entire network mapped (something that would have taken weeks in Visio). We sent Visio back."
Jason Sewell
Network Manager

"I initially downloaded the 2-week evaluation and after I used InterMapper for about 1 hour I realized that we NEEDED this for our network. I will be mapping out EVERYTHING with it!! :) "
Chris Myers
Systems Administrator
Woodhaven Association

"I came from an OpenView environment, but InterMapper is much easier. I saw how easy it is to map a big network, so I decided to try it."
Chris Costa
Network Engineer

"We're a small non-profit agency, and InterMapper is one of the best investments I've made. We're always under pressure to squeeze pennies. InterMapper allows me to easily monitor bandwidth usage, so I can tell if we're getting our money's worth from our WAN circuits. I'm a self-taught network administrator: even so, with only a rudimentary understanding of networks and the tools available in InterMapper, I could immediately see what I most needed to know about my WAN."
Kenny McLemore
IT Coordinator
Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee

"We have been working with HPOV and I can do more in one day with InterMapper than in one year with HPOV."
Arturo Servin Corporate Network Director Tec de Monterrey, Mexico

"I currently use InterMapper in addition to Netscout, HP Openview and Cisco's Netsys Baseliner. I do recognize an excellent product like InterMapper, and am happy to support those who dedicate themselves to its embellishments.

We at West Valley - Mission College District applaud folks who can make a product that is easier than baking a cake. Your software is icing on the cake."
Bruce Moore
Network Administrator

"I have used InterMapper at various jobs in my career so far, and it is by far the easiest and fastest to get up and running to monitor a network and seems to be the most reliable at notification I have found. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing new developments in future releases."
Andy Flagge
Network Administrator
Cerro Gordo County

"InterMapper is great - it's uncomplicated. We were using Nagios, but setting up all those text files is confusing, and a lot of work. With InterMapper it is user friendly, you simply create the map, set the thresholds, and it'll page you when there's a problem."
Dave Hamwey
Network Manager
Puget Sound University

"I sort of feel like Johnny AppleseedI have been using InterMapper® since 1997 and I take it to every new company I work for. Currently, I use it in conjunction with Wild Packets and EtherPeek. What I really like about InterMapper is that it's plug and play. It's a visual tool that lays everything out in the way that I choose to maximize the information available. I can lay out my network one subnet or one device at a time and see the problems on an individual subnet.

We have HP Open View but that requires a trained operator. We evaluated several network monitoring packages including Lan Surveyor. We chose InterMapper, not only because of my previous experience with it, but because it is easier to install, it's intuitive and, best of all, it works.

Long live InterMapper."
Scott McCulley
Director, Information Technology
DDB Chicago

"InterMapper has been a gift from the heavens. No other platform can compare to the versatility ease of use and reliability that InterMapper has afforded us. When it comes to Real Time local and remote Monitoring, real time paging and system status regardless of the network size, InterMapper rules.”
Robert A. Moriarity Sr.
Director of Engineering
Aelix, Inc.

"We use InterMapper on the corporate network and at external sites to know what equipment is really out there. Its auto-discovery feature gives the ability to make a map of the routers and the links that are in place. We can modify the labels to add meaning, as well. For hosts and servers, we just point and click within InterMapper to have Dartmouth's MacPing program discover what's on a network segment. Then we select the significant devices and paste them directly into the InterMapper map."
Fred Chase
Lead Security Analyst
MITRE Corporation

"Awesome!!! InterMapper really works great. It gave us the instant answer we needed. We found all of our computers were actually on our network."
